Technicus Consulting are pleased to have established an excellent working relationship with Great Yarmouth Norse (GYN) through the provision of ad-hoc structural design and consultancy services for the Assessment Management and Responsive Repairs departments.
Technicus Consulting have needed to responded quickly to new project instructions from GYN, which have usually arisen following discovery of structural defects during the renovation and refurbishment of Great Yarmouth Borough Council-owned domestic properties and public buildings. Technicus Consulting’s brief has typically involved initial inspection of the property defects, reporting on the cause of the damage, and design of appropriate remedial works schemes. Our work has often involved the design and specification of both permanent structural elements and temporary works to assist with execution of the required remedial works.
Kevin Buttle, Technicus Associate, said “We are very pleased to be working with Great Yarmouth Norse on these often interesting and unusual structural defect projects. Our close proximity to the Council-owned properties means we are able to provide a rapid response to GYN’s enquires. This is important as the defects are often only discovered once GYN commence refurbishment of a property. This results in design of the appropriate defect remedial works being critical to GYN progressing the refurbishment project. We look forward to providing continued services to GYN in the future as a valued client.”
